You might add in Fairbanks, the River boat Discovery, touring Pioneer Vilage ( formerly called Alaska Land), drive out north of town to Fox to view the Oil Pipeline, have lunch at the Pump House, visit the Malemute Saloon in Ester on the west side of Fairbanks, visit the Howling Dog Saloon in Fox, pan for Gold at the Eldorado Mine, the downtown visitor center near the Cushman St. Bridge,
In Nenana, the visitor center, Tripod gift shop complex, the Railroad Museum, the Native Cultural center on the river bank up toward the railroad bridge crossing the Tanana River, St. Mark's Log church, on Front St.
Two words in the area give tourists problems
Tanana is pronounced ( Tan Ah. Naw)
Nenana is (Nee Nan Ah) sort of like banana
