I'm retired also but heading out there is no way I could only go 200 miles a day. That would take 9 days to make it to Kalispell, Montana. I wouldn't know what to do with myself for the rest of the day. I start early but I do stop fairly early but in the states it is more like a 600 miles a day. I well be stopping off in Montana for a few days but then it well be on into BC. I figure it well take me about 3 days to make it from Bentonville, AR to Kalispell, MT.
I have been retired for almost 11 years and haven't been able to slow down yet. Retired when I was 53 still trying to go 100 MPH. Just kidding I don't travel any faster than 60 to 65 at the most on the freeway and less on secondary roads. I'll probably be going like this till I'm 6' under. I have gotten better over the years I well stop when the wife wants to see things.
When we get into BC I'll be going slower than. We have been on the Icefield Parkway before and are going that way again but I well still be goiing slower and from there on it well be slower.
