Hi All:
We have been planning our Alaska/Canada trip for over a year, but only recently discovered this part of RV Net. First, thanks to all who have posted helpful information of all sorts. We have already modified our plans based on info. contained on this site. Because of other commitments, we do not have much time to devote to further research. So one question I have, is it highly recommended to read the Roll Call 2013 posts, or are most topics covered in the 2014 posts?
We expect to leave Western Pennsylvania on June 6 & drive to Montana. We will cross into Canada about June 13, and spend a few nights in Banff and then Jasper (AlpineRV2GO we will look for you). Then go north to Dawson Creek, Watson Lake, Whitehorse, Tok, then to Fairbanks. After a few days in Fairbanks, take the Parks Highway to Denali NP for several nights (Riley CG). Then down to the Kenai Pen., then Anchorage, then drive to Skagway. Ferry to Juneau, Ferry to Sitka, Ferry to Bellingham (arriving July 25). I hope this seems reasonable for a first trip. We are time constrained because of our daughters' employment.
Please add us to your list for Roll Call 2014. Thanks.
