I see cell service is the topic de jour ... so if I may ask, what's the latest on celluar DATA in Canada, presumably Northern BC and Yukon? A lot of the Canada coverage maps I've found pretend those areas of Canada don't exist.
7/11's SpeakOut seems to be a fair price, $100 gets you a few GB of data, as well as voice and sms service. The rest of the pre-pay carriers seem to think a few 100MB is enough data for anyone, and they're charging $$$$ for it. Verizon is $20 per 100MB, or $200 per gigabyte, ouch!
I don't need data in the US, already have unlimited with Verizon, but that won't do me any good for half my journey west and then east across Canada.
