When I travelled in Yukon and Alaska, I opened my Hams radio many times and scanned from 144 to 148,I never heard anyone on the radio. I did check the Ham Radio Map, and yes, there are some towers, but unfortunatly, I did not hear anyone.
If anyone can help on this, let us know
