We left home the 15th spending a leisurely trip northward. 2 hours out of St. Louis we clipped a deer. Crunched the passengers side of the bumper and ripped the headlight and turn signal assemblies out. They're gone. A lot of broken fiberglass and some sheet metal damage on the fender.
Thankfully no injuries nor chassis damage. We drove to Council Bluffs Iowa to the Camping World there. The insurance company said they work directly with them.
Now waiting on the insurance authorization then I'm sure we will be stuck here one or two weeks waiting on parts.....if not longer.
I guess we will make Alaska sometime this summer. :(
total bummer!! I was worrying about doing that in CN or AK, now I have to add MO to the list. Hope your repairs are simple and quick and you are back on the road soon. Hope to be right behind you.
