The peninsula should be getting a break from the rain this coming Tuesday and should be nice for 4-5 days. I think you said you were in Seward now so Homer should be nice next week. Many residents here are grateful for the rain because of the fire but I know it is not the best for someone visiting. Up until this rain we have had great weather since break-up, one of the nicest springs that I can remember.
The rain here is normally very light, we just put on rain gear and keep on functioning. Just like today we are pulling the boat to Homer this morning, launching and putting her in the slip for the summer. I look at the rain today as keeping the smoke down, don't have to water the grass, and the bugs will clean off the boat better when we get to Homer today.:) Starting next weekend watch out Halibut rain or shine.:B
