Well, we are finalizing our plans, waxing trailer and TV, starting to pack (traveling in 18 ft r-pod as opposed to our 34 ft Jayco Eagle!) We don't leave our home in Montana until June 9th but have lots to do to get house and trailer ready for a 2 month trip. We are excited - yes, i am also having trouble sleeping - find myself up at 4am, thinking, reviewing checklists, reading blogs. This is our first time to drive to Alaska, have flown there and cruised the Inside Passage several times. We plan to go to Fairbanks, stay in Denali for a few nights over July 4th then head back, visiting for about a week in Haines, about a week in Banff and Jasper and a few days in the Kelowna wine country, returning in August. Have enjoyed reading everyones comments and tips - all much appreciated.
