PenFed Card Problems.
Running into issues with some stations and my Pen Fed Visa (really any card, but it hurts on my 5% points). Found stations that are blocking pump readers for international cards. I was able to avoid issues by just going to another station, but yesterday in Smithers I had a choice of Chevron or Esso and both are blocking.
If you go inside to run the card, the transaction will not register as gas no matter what the clerk tells you. As their is only set up for a single type of transaction (e.g. junk food). Pen Fed followed the transaction and confirmed it was not going as gas. Nothing Pen Fed can do as this is a Gas Station problem, not a Pen Fed problem.
I figure this is only getting worse as the towns are getting smaller and smaller.
