Stopped in Badlands NP for 3 nights, well worth the slight delay because I got some great images.
Yippee!! I'm in Canada. Crossed at Sweet Grass, very nice man in the booth, only asked a few questions, did I have booze or tobacco, guns? Answer to all was "no", he didn't ask for the dogs' papers either. Found a nice little campground in Claresholme, south of Calgary. Will skirt Calgary tomorrow and see if I can check into Tunnel II campground in Banff for a few days exploring and photography.
Sorry you've been frustrated with the weather as far as the photography goes, Gordon. I can understand that, it was much the same in theBadlands but I stuck it out and was rewarded with some sun and then a clear night to get the Milky Way.
Put the "Roll Call Alaska 2014" sign on the trailer's spare tire and one in the street side window of the truck cap. Looking forward to meeting some folks.
