We are at the Glowing Embers RV Resort near Edmonton. I got a bit discouraged yesterday. The trip from Texas has been long and tiring (and boring for the grandsons), the wind was relentless in Alberta yesterday, and We got a minor chip in the windshield yesterday (on a good highway no less). We will be in Dawson Creek tonight, and we will finally began to receive some reward for the days on the road. Being part of a group of enthusiastic fellow travelers really helps me to keep my perspective and my eyes on the ultimate prize.
BTW, does anyone know of a place in Dawson Creek to get a windshield ding repaired? I have a do-it-yourself kit, but I do not want to bungle the job and I'd like to save it for a more serious chip that needs immediate attention if that occurs.
