Second day in Haines today. Can't believe the DW came all this way to get a quilt pattern! Ah well...leaves me time to use nearby library WIFI & catch up on news like the earthquake a couple of days ago that we did not feel. Nice being out of touch for awhile.
Tomorrow, back to Haines JC. Nice CG there Pine Lake. On to another YT CG N of Carmacks then Dawson City for a supply top up, diesel, laundry & the required visit to the Dawson Hardware Store. A neat place to browse even if nothing is bought.
We have yet to meet anyone from this forum. Have really not seen many RVers from the lower 48 at all. I must be frequenting the wrong CGs. Met lots of Europeans in rentals & a good number of BC & YT locals.
