Just left tok after 2 nights. Here are my thoughts on some cgs we stayed at:
Dawson creek. 50 amp f/h/u. Wifi was ok. Good electric and water. Good car/ rv wash
Tow hwy was fine in Yukon. From the border for 14 miles was ROUGH. YOU MUST DRIVE SLOW.
We stayed in a very nice , quiet blm cg about 15 miles passed chicken ($5 with golden access) called west gate.
We spent the first night in tok at sourdough cg. We were there 6 years ago and loved it. This time we felt it was overpriced for what it was. We moved over to Ron's chevron and parked for free after filling up with fuel (get a coupon for 10 cents in road tripper magazine which you can pick up at all the visitor's centers)
Delta junction: camped at rikas roadhouse ($5)! Great find
Heading to Fairbanks tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions for cg ?
Btw. We have a 42' MHz so all the above are available for big rigs
