Sue, thanks for your quick response. I'm working off a tank that was filled in FL. The other tank, still full, was filled in NJ. I've been using the furnace and water heater with no problem and until about 2.5 weeks ago the fridge, too. It really seems like a problem with the orifice getting clogged (since it has worked both times it was cleaned, then quit again) and I suspect it is something in the gas line that is getting knocked loose. The copper 1/2" gas line is converted to a 1/4" metal (not copper) tube that does not go directly to the orifice but winds around using nearly 3' of tubing before going to the orifice. I have no idea why and it has never been a problem before but I think I'd like it removed and to have a much shorter piece go directly to the orifice. Wish I'd asked to have that done yesterday but hindsight is always 20/20. I'll probably wind up getting the present propane tank filled around the time I hit Anchorage area and will hope they don' t have a lot of additives.
