There is an award-winning craft brewery in Whitehorse

Well worth a visit and tour there when you're going back through Whitehorse. Their dark beers are especially tantalizing. They have a six-pack that is aptly called, "The Dark Side" which is comprised of three different dark brews, Bonanza Brown being my favourite,
I am planning a trip there and have tried the dark side, which was good.
When we were at Klondike Kate's in Dawson City the waitress informed us that if you are into craft beers, Yukon is not going to dazzle you and I agree they do not have the big bold flavours that some of the smaller craft places are producing. The downside is that many are not bottling.
For dark beers I liked Midnight Sun and Kassik's the best in Alaska. I also enjoyed all the other dark beers from the other breweries. For a red ale: Arkose then Denali. For IPA it has to be Hoodoo.
I found many of the small breweries had at least one unique beer they could call their own.
