As we got down close to Napa Valley, we heard a pop sound. We were close to a camping world and went in there. To our astonishment, the pin box to the 5th wheel cracked. It was deemed unsafe and was totaled by the insurance company. Had to pack all our stuff into a u haul and now are headed back to Florida by truck...glad it happened at the end of our trip.
I am sitting here wondering...what on earth? The pin box..is that not repairable? I have no idea, I just figured that a weld would fix most anything. I'd love it, if someone would sort of explain this to me..use small words please.
