We are in Smithers and had one of the best days yesterday in Steward and Hyder. The sun was finally out and it was getting warm. The Salmon Glacier is one of the best we saw ( we did 3 glacier boat trips) as you are above it looking down. We saw a grizzle fishing at the fish creek observation platform in Hyder and 6 black bears on our drive to and from Steward. I f you get the chance drive the Cassiar Highway and visit Hyder.
And Sue T., I had an Alexander Keiths yesterday as that was as there were no craft beer. I will say Yukon Beer is great - we also did the tour and we were told they are not hop heads so don't expect their IPA to shock you.
