Nice but challenging drive. Chicken to the Eagle turn off is the worst averaged 15mph. Then you get 13 miles of brand new pavement to the border which was a delight. The Yukon side starts out pretty good with mix of pavement and dirt but about 40 miles from Dawson it is a mix of good, bad, and ugly.
Got passed by 3 large motor homes and ran into a guy who said he was doing 60 on some dirt sections. Don't know how they do it.
Possibly some of them don't...I'm thinking they're the ones we hear the horror stories about: in the ditch, rolled over, off the shoulder, broken windows, busted hitch, etc.
