Hello, folks! I do not own an RV, but I will be taking the ALCAN on my way from Las Vegas to Anchorage as part of a PCS to JB Elmendorf-Richardson. I will be travelling around January 7 towing a 24' enclosed car hauler with a Chevy 3500 dually. This will give me just over three weeks to report to my new duty station. Right now I am finishing out a year in Korea and should fly back to Vegas in December to pack most of my household goods and get things ready for the trip.
My wife won't be able to join me until the summer, so I will be driving solo. That means I will be making this trip in winter and summer. Also, boats make me seasick, so I much prefer driving rather than taking the ferry. ;)
