See the sticky in this thread for a list of fuel stops to help with planning.
Alaska Hwy fuel stopsWe have about a 200 mile limit when pulling the fifth wheel. Northbound on the Alaska Hwy, these are our stops because the availability of fuel is usually reliable.
- Dawson Creek (But we usually fill up before Dawson Creek so we don't have to turn off into town off of Hwy 97, but most tourists do want to see Dawson Creek so this town would be a good fuel stop)
- Fort St John
- Fort Nelson
- Toad River
- Contact Creek
- Watson Lake
- Teslin
- Whitehorse
- Haines Junction (to top up because its cheaper than Destruction Bay)
- Destruction Bay
- Beaver Creek (a reliable stop too but tends to be more expensive, if crossing the border, Northway is about 60 miles from Beaver Creek)
- Northway, Alaska
