Going from the Canadian side to the U.S. side never required a stop anyways. Why would it be any different if the station is closed? Leaving a country is seldom a problem. We all only stop when entering, not leaving.
welllll..yes, but I think there might be a maybe too. I have had occasion to be involved in a road-block on the US side of the Peace Arch border crossing, manned by US folks..and that was before getting to the CDN CBSA. And more than once, tho not often...I don't recall what the circumstances were, but it was Border people.
