Is it only fresh or frozen chicken? Can we take canned chicken? What about ground beef or sandwich meat? Struggling to know what to bring.
The easiest thing to do is not to stock the refrig/freezer with fresh or frozen food. There are plenty of stores in Canada to stock up. Canned is just fine. Yes, you might pay a little more but this whole Alaska trip is costly. Just do it.
On one of our trips friends were flying to Anchorage to meet us and renting a RV. She packed a frozen turkey breast in her suitcase! She didn't think meat was widely available. :)
