We are in Alaska for the summer. Ordinarily from here so we will be bouncing around from Fairbanks, Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula. Lucky for us, we have a friend with property in Anchorage that we can camp at, same with Fairbanks.
Road from Haines Junction to Beaver Creek is aweful. Not looking forward to driving back across that stretch of road.
Fair warning, Anchorage RV parks are not very nice. We stayed at The Rivers Edge park in Fairbanks before moving to stay with family. It was very nice and we will visit that park again.
Hoping to be able to squeeze our rig into some of the US Forest/Alaska campgrounds on the peninsula. We'll be down there in a week or so. Likely stay at an RV park for a night or two and scout out some campgrounds/sites with the TOAD.
