Just a quick update on our travels. Left Pittsburgh June 3, crossed the border on June 10 at Couts/Sweatgrass at 8:00 am, and we were the only ones there at the time. Usual 5 or 6 questions, no big deal. Spent a few nights in Calgary, then on to Banff, and currently in Jasper NP. Roads in Canada have been pretty good so far, the stretch between Lake Louise and Jasper is a little bumpy. Have seen many critters between Banff and Jasper, mountain goats, big horn sheep, black bears, and elk. Staying at Whistlers CG the past few days, and this morning saw cow elk and calf wondering around the camp sites. Heading up to Dawson Creek in the morning. Thanks all for fire and road reports. Will up date when we have service. BTW, we had oil service performed at Bison Ford in Great Falls, MT. Great people, took us in with short notice, and did a good job.
