We enjoyed many of the areas along the Alaskan Highway. Whitehorse was interesting and a good place to get a few supplies but nothing beyond what's been posted stands out except one thing. About 50 percent of the cars have broken windshields from rocks and are not repaired. I'd guess you can't get glass insurance since it would soon be broken again.
The worst drivers along the Alaskan Highway are the locals. They mostly drive without regard to rocks as rock damage is just a daily given for them. The big rigs mostly pull over to the right as much as possible when you meet them. The tourists including the RVers are mostly clueless.
Whitehorse is the largest city in Yukon with a population of 27,000. And the Yukon population is 37,000 or 1 person for every 5 square miles.
