You might want to use a sturdier sign. I don't think foamboard will last for the trip. How about a piece of plywood?

Good idea! Thanks. I was thinking of the plastic corrugated sign material that is used for real estate or yard signs, not quite foam board. But a thin piece of plywood might be the way to go.
