May you all have a great trip, and may the 'smooth roads North of Whitehouse' (NOT!) treat you all well. (Suspect Sue T is out with a shovel smoothing out the frost heaves for you now:)!)
Nada! Been busy clearing slush from our driveway. It has been a mild winter and above freezing the past week. Yesterday and today our packed-snow driveway turned to slush. First mosquitoes have already showed up, along with black flies.
And the frost heaves on the highway are already bad. The dipsey doodles are worse than usual on the 35 miles between our place and Whitehorse. My little Honda Fit doesn't mind them too much but the F-250 4x4 gets tossed around quite a bit. There's one diagonal dip that grabs the truck and redirects it. Nasty.
When we head out with the fifth wheel, we'll be going only 30-40 mph, and down to 10 mph for some of those dips.
