Sounds good, Piper DRVR. With the AK economy like it is, you might see lots of folks heading south. I have family who moved up there in the 50s, now are all over, mostly in FB and the Kenai. Two cousins who were bush pilots. One cousin has a DeH Beaver.
Not to benefit from tough times, but I'm hoping the economy is down enough to make the retirement home construction a bit more feasible.....and maybe pickup a nice C-185 at the same time.
Would love to have a Beaver, but even if I could otherwise afford to operate it, that's a plane that one has to fly pretty consistently to use to its limits.
....and for the cost of flying it, better use it to its limits.
