Roll Call Alaska 2016

I have always done Alaska clockwise. Down to to Skagway, ferry to Hines then north to Haines Jct. and over to Glen Allen, Valdeze, Whittier, Seward, Homer then up through Ancharage again to Denali, Fairbanks back down to Tok and over to Dawson before heading back to Whitehorse and on to other points.

I don't think there is a specific way to tackle Alaska. Some summers are good any way you travel it, others you catch some bad weather and it puts a damper on your trip. DRIP, DRIP.....

Any way you travel it you'll see some great country.
