Ahh, that's the tourist industry! They all carry the same ****, open during the tourist summer season, leave in the winter.
When I lived and worked in JNU I got a call from Skagway PD. A couple brought in a $35,000.00 diamod braclet that they accidently walked off with in JNU from a jewlery store there. They didn't know which store she had tried it on in. I got a photo of the item and sent it to our downtown office and asked the foot patrol officers to figure out which store had a missing braclet. After multiple contacts the store that had lost it realized they were missing it. So much for that clerks job. Hey, it's only $35K. Better their money then mine!
