Countryroad I like your style. Do the biggest and best trip first! The wife closed her business in March of 2012 and in April we headed for the Alaskan Highway and spent the next 7 months living the dream! Her longest time spent in the RV prior to this was 4 days at a NASCAR race! Talk about a leap of faith! We even came home still friends! It's hard for some folks to go from a 3000 sq. ft. sticks and bricks to a 400 sq. ft RV!
We liked it enough we went back for 7 months again in 2014 and will be looking for the group this year as we head North once more.
Always keep in mind we are now retired and don't have to rush from one place to the next these days. We take our time and enjoy the drive up and back as much as the Alaska experience.
