I am really not sure about bringing a toad with all the problems it brings along: broken windshield, dings on the car, bra, protecting device, hook, unhook and who knows what else.
They have bus in big towns to go and visit, and in small places like Homer or Stewart, Valdez, I park right there in the middle of the towns.
Bicycles would probably be good enough or a scooter/dirt bike on the hitch. I never had a toad, this was with a truck camper but still had to hook/unhook shore power to go to groceries of else. I don't hook up sewer, I just hook up when I have to flush, once or twice a week.
With the short class A (34 feet) I feel I can park pretty well in any normal parking area, or I park little ways and walk a few 100 feet.
In my last two trips, I did not bring anything else and I am very happy I didn't, less things to woory.
Have a wonderfull trip and Enjoy.
