Fer2005: I have no complaints about Denali RV Park and Motel. Sites are close but they are better than Watson Lake. I have a back-in site and there is space w/bushes between me and the next guy. The pull thrus are tight but not like Watson Lake. Price is cheaper and they have better wifi w/cable. Older couple as owners are very helpful with info. 8 miles to main gate (south). Front sites could have road noise, but I do not hear any at my site unless it is a big truck.
Full hookups, cable, wifi, no congestion of the park.
Someone mentioned staying in the park for a better experience. The campground above/@ Savage River I understand is closed due to unfriendly bear(s) max POV allowed is mm 12.4. (Savage River is 17.4mm) Don't know for how long but I don't need the hassle of a better experience with a PO'd bear outside my door at night.
