A question for some of you experienced Alaska travelers. I want to take two different routes going to and coming from Alaska just to see the most. I'm starting in the Louisville, Ky. area so any recommendations as to which way I should do this through the States and Canada. The plan right now is to leave in mid May.
I may ask the same question about traveling through Alaska too later on.
I think I'll paint my spare tire cover up with a Roll Call 2018 sign.

If possible get a companion to share the trip with you. If they pay for their own expenses it would be great to have some company to converse with. Hopefully they would even share some of the fixed expenses. The only reason I wouldn't want to be in a caravan is because I'd be locked in a time schedule with everybody else.
