Know how that goes. When I retired in 2006 I brought back a large sum in checks from the sale of my home, investments in Alaska etc. I went into a Bank of America Branch in Washington and they couldn't deposit them as they could not determine where I had my account with them since I opened it on line from Alaska in preparation for my retirement and move to Washington State. Needless to say I no longer bank with BofA. Except my credit cards since I enjoy my Alaska Airlines miles and haven't paid for a flight in 20+ years. Just cash in miles and we only fly 1st Class. Not a big fan of cattle car coach.
Flight attendent: Who want's a free peanut? I have 10, first 10 to speak up get a peanut. Love the airline but flying just ain't what it used to be. Been flying Alaska Airlines for 35 years and they used to serve steak dinners in coach. The commercial air travel industry is sadly not what it used to be. WHAT, you have a checked bag, that's $75.00 or 2 for $200.00 and $25.00 for the carry on. Oh and you want to sit in the pressurized part of the plane with Oxygen that's $20.00 extra. We will be at 30K feet so we do recommend it.
Couple years ago we were flying to TX to board a cruise in Galveston for the western Caribbean. Had the very best flight attendent in 1st class. Guy was very good, funny, very attentive and just made the flight a joy.
