TourSaver update: We received our 2018 edition yesterday. This year is about 1/2 the size of the 2016 version. It will still pay for itself several times over if you are a first time visitor to Alaska.
Many of the glacier and wldlife viewing day cruises are not included this year. There are no day cruises out of Valdez. Guess we will be required to pay full price for our bi-annual trip to the Columbia Glacier on the Lula-Belle! (We can't go to Valdez and not spend a long day with Cpt. Fred!) Major Marine has only two cruises out of Seward this year.
Hooray for the Alaskan Railroad as they still offer trips to Seward, Fairbanks, Denali, and Talkeetna. Any one of these great trips will save more than the price of the book.
The years where we saved 10Xs the cost of the book are gone.
