Cheap fuel? What planet is Cardston on? Expect to pay $4.25 to $4.75 US a gallon in Canada for fuel. Diesel anyway.
Beer was $100.00 a case back in 2016 my last trip. Cubed ice was $28.00 for a 5 lb bag at one RV park store. Still there far as I know. Beef is very expensive, like $15.00 a pound and up for steaks.
Halibut was $26.00 a lb just north of Anchorage on our way to Denali at a Safeway store. We had caught 40 lbs of cleaned, filleted and cry vac sealed butt to ship home via next day air so halibut was not on our shopping list. But that was a $1,000.00 in halibut on the open market.
