Route 101
Is the bridge between Chinook WA to Astoria OR big rig friendly? Also is it a toll bridge? Thanks in advance.

- Use that Bridge often! No toll. The Oregon side starts with a Fair Grade, from a Deadstop if you miss the light. You either make a Left Turn from the Coast Route or a Right Turn from Portland Route. Either way No run to build up speed, then your on the hill enjoying a nice sweeping curve to the top!
From Washington side, it's a nice smooth trip at water level, WAVE at the Fisherman, to a short climb to top of Bridge, It's high enough for loaded barges and smaller Freighters to pass under. Then the decent to street level.
