Route 114 to Alma New Brunswick - Condition?
Researching 2014 trip to Fundy NP. Read on Trip Advisor that the road for the TCH to Alma is very rough. Poster said to avoid if trailering or in Motorhome. Anyone have comments?

If you will be taking route 1 from Freeport up the coast to Lubec, I'll add few items that may be of interest. Camden Hills State Park is just a couple of miles past Camden. We have over nighted there several times in the past. The view of Camden Harbor and Penobsot Bay is spectacular from the top of Mt. Battie (use the toad to go up). We had great seafood in Camden overlooking the boats in the harbor.
Just before crossing the river at Bucksport is Fort Knox.
X2 on the Fundy Trail Parkway near St Martins. There are also several small sea caves in St Martins, as well as some covered bridges you can drive through. We stayed several days at Century Farm Campground in St Martins.
