Route 83
We are looking at taking route 83 from Minot, ND to Abilene, TX in the beginning of November. Has any one tried that trip at that time of year? We are pulling a 35ft 5th wheel with a 2008 GMC 2500...

Many trips on 83. It is a good mostly 2 lane highway passing thru many small towns that just slow you down for a few minutes. You might have a cattle truck in a hurry to get to a Kansas packing house and wanting to pass. Other than that it's a nice ride. As far as weather you never know but I bet it will be ok that time of year.
