Route 83
We are looking at taking route 83 from Minot, ND to Abilene, TX in the beginning of November. Has any one tried that trip at that time of year? We are pulling a 35ft 5th wheel with a 2008 GMC 2500...

Not very often is there any snow in ND in November.We usually leave 20 miles north of Minot between 1 and 15 of nov. have not had any snow or ice when leaving last 5 years,not saying it cant happen.83 is a major north south route so i wouldnt worry about .
