Route from Wichita to Albuquerque
Is hwy 54 a good road to take through sw Kansas before hooking up to I40 in New Mexico? Sure looks to be shorter than going down to OKC and then west. We have a 36' 5th wheel.

US 54 is a very good rd. In fact itsa major truck route. Havent been on it for about eight years, but used to run it regularly. Dont know about current construction projects.
