Route from Wichita to Albuquerque
Is hwy 54 a good road to take through sw Kansas before hooking up to I40 in New Mexico? Sure looks to be shorter than going down to OKC and then west. We have a 36' 5th wheel.

Highway 54 is a good road but lots of truck traffic. I prefer route 56. Not much traffic on it and the road is just as good, distance is about the same.
