Route from Wichita to Albuquerque
Is hwy 54 a good road to take through sw Kansas before hooking up to I40 in New Mexico? Sure looks to be shorter than going down to OKC and then west. We have a 36' 5th wheel.

On 54 and 56 keep to the speed limit through the small towns. Most are speed traps with unmarked patrol cars.
