route question

Hello I am planning on a trip to Grand Lake OK , in Grove OK and leaving there and heading to Branson MO. One of the routes I am looking at is taking is cutting across missouri using think it is 248, running in to 276-76 leading in back side of Branson. has any one ever took this route? if so is there a lot hills or mainly lot of curves?
