- justhavinfun101ExplorerThanks for the replies. Hwy 11 appears to be the safe way to go for now. The motorhome will be inspected before we arrive but we prefer to get it home so we can go over it with a fine tooth comb. We will be taking our time travelling back and are hoping we will find places to park overnight. Have heard alot of PP not open before May long weekend.

Agree.
If you decide on 17 be aware that there is little or no opportunity to refuel between Wawa and Montreal River (Pancake Bay Provincial Park). I have never done 11 between Hearst and Nipigon so I can't comment on the fuel situation on that route. It's just that given that this vehicle is new to you the tank range will be an unknown factor and you won't want to find out the hard way. - hone_eagleExplorer11 is flater 17 is much more scenic
- FizzExplorerNorthern Ontario mid May is serious Blackfly season.
- TothillExplorerNo help what so ever on your route.
Just wanted to say that our 1989 Triple E Class C has been back and forth over the Rockies from the BC Coast 3 times since we bought it. Plus over some interesting routes with steep climbs on Vancouver Island as well as the Duffy Lake Road.
If you do not know the maintenance history of the RV, I would get it looked over by a reputable mechanic before you head out.
