That is absolutely a great route. I have pulled our 34' fifth-wheel over every mile of it (expect from Carthage to Henderson because of where we live). I lived for a total of 13 years in Palestine and 7 years in Henderson.
That is an excellent route that you have noted.
We have stayed two different times in the last few year in Fifty Point Conservation Area near Hamilton. We have good RV friends who live near there and we met them at the campground both times.
