Traveling across Montana in late August and need some imput on campgrounds across the state. Will be on rt.2 Thanks.

Time your travel so that you don't need an over-night between western North Dakota and eastern Montana,ie the Bakken Oil field area. All the campgrounds in that region are 110% full, all the time. That is roughly Wiliston N.D. to Sidney MT
