Rt 23 from I64 in Kentucky to I81 in TN?

We have done this route several times...picking up 23 at US 119. Mostly 4 lanes. Some mountains but easily doable. There are some foggy spots and congested areas going through small towns. It is an beautiful drive! The entire road is an engineering marvel. If you have a chance, check out Natural Tunnel State Park in Duffield, VA. http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/natural-tunnel.shtml#general_information. We have never camped there, but the tunnel is amazing especially if you have a train-freak husband like I do.

We have a truck camper and are towing either the bass boat or most recently a 22 ft pontoon.
