Did 17 to 178 in a UHaul pulling a car on a carrier. Almost no brakes at the stop sign at the bottom of the exit.

If you look at google street view just before you start the downhill grade going south toward Sedona, there is a sign that says 50' limit.

I did it with the rig in my sig. Hairy, but beautiful, for the DW anyway, as I spent most of my time watching the road. There is one pullout at Oak Creek where you can stop and get some nice views of the area.

I DO think there is a 50 foot limit Flag to Sedona but, if not, there should be.

Beautiful drive to be sure but not for an RV.

Roy's google earth shot says it all. 89A is a beautiful drive and well worth taking. I'd never consider towing anything on this section or driving an rv on it.

We've driven Oak Creek Canyon many times....always in a four wheel vehicle...I would never even remotely consider taking any rig through there......well worth driving , incredibly beautiful, but not for RV's!

Just did a SNIP from google maps showing the loop-backs at OAK CREEK VISTA on 89A... I need the practice snipping views from google earth maps... It's not quite CLICK CLICK yet for me to do this...

Pretty sure I've seen a 50ft limit sign when exiting I-17 at the Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon exit a couple miles south of Flagstaff.

I don't recommend driving 89A with a large RV.
